How to Generate Hot Leads Quickly

If I ask 100 owners of small businesses that sell anything of significant value what they want most from their marketing, most likely 95 of them will say, “More qualified leads.”

And by qualified leads they mean someone that is familiar with their business and is seriously considering buying what they sell in the near future.

In a perfect world, these leads take the form of in-bound phone calls but they could also be form submissions, email inquiries, live chats or text submissions.

When you have a steady stream of leads like the above, everything becomes easier. When you don’t, well… we know what that can be like.

Idle staff. No revenue. Sleepless nights and on and on.

So how do we get hot leads contacting us quickly?

Short answer: Google Ads.

Now before you roll your eyes and say, “C’mon man. Google ads are ridiculously expensive and complicated to set up. We’ve tried them before and they don’t work for us.”

Yes. They are complicated. Like, really complicated.

Yes. They can be expensive. But marketing is only expensive if you’ve not getting a return on what you’re spending.

The truth is that I had given up on Google ads as a viable source of leads for years too. That was until I met someone that REALLY knew what he was doing and he opened my eyes to what is actually possible with pay per click marketing.

See here’s the thing. There is a reason that Google makes $100 BILLION per year and most of it comes from their pay per click advertising platform.

Because it works.

Someone within your service area searches for the exact service you provide and your ad shows up in-front of them.

You know what they’ve looking for and you have a pretty good idea that they’re in the phase of making a decision.

It doesn’t get much better than that, does it?

Of course, I’m simplifying here because Google is a bitch and they over-complicate everything. But that is a good thing. It keeps all the ignorant or lazy competitors out (or massively over-paying for clicks) and allows us to dominate the market.

I know you’re probably still skeptical and if you’ve had bad experiences with Google Ads you have every right to be.

However, people keep pumping money into Google ads. The only reason they would ever do that is if they’re getting positive returns.

And the only reason they’re getting positive returns is because they know what they’re doing. Or they’re working with someone that does.
