Canadian Thanksgiving Wishes
Today, in Canada, is Thanksgiving. Living in the U.K. I didn’t even realize it until someone sent me a message yesterday. It was a good message too. It contained the cartoon below. Thanks Mrs. C.
Thanksgiving is always an interesting time of the year. It gives some of us the opportunity to practice what is known as “an attitude of gratitude” as outlined in The Secret.
That being said, I’d like to thank all of my family members and friends for their support. This was a big year for me – moved to the U.K., turned 40, launched my consulting business in earnest – and I couldn’t have done it without all of your support.
It isn’t until you’re living in a foreign country in the middle of nowhere that you begin to realize how important those closest to you really are. Sure, email, instant messaging and Skype are all great in their own way but it isn’t the same as having a face to face chat over a beer or two.
I can’t possibly list everyone that has helped me here but you know who you are. Thank you so much.
