If you’re depending on seo to drive traffic to your site or blog there are two key ingredients to you success. Content and backlinks. I talked about back-links in an earlier post and today I’d like to cover the topic of content.
I love writing so adding content is easy for me. However, I know that this is not the norm so here are a few ideas to allow you to keep you site fresh and interesting even if the thought of writing makes your skin crawl.
Ever since reading the Four Hour Work Week I’ve been tinkering with outsourcing and automation. And I must say it has been quite the learning experience.
Here is the thing that I’m finally willing to admit to myself. Tell me if this relates to you. While I love marketing and learning/testing new marketing techniques, I have two Achilles heels. First, at any given point there are hundreds if not thousands of activities that you could be doing to improve your marketing. No one person can possibly get them all done. Second, a lot of these activities are tedious and I don’t like doing them.
I have to credit Boomer (aka Popeye) with the phrase “It ain’t all glory”. He has a knack of coming out with the one liners that are perfect for the situation. I don’t actually recall the context in which I heard him use this phrase the first time but it is sticking in my mind today for another reason.
I just saw my buddy Susan McCord at the gym. She and Sandra have a very cool project going. It started as a Internet radio talk show called Leave it Two Beavers and it has now blossomed into video and a new site called Beaver Talk.
Nick is the man. He has no arms and no legs but he is playing with the cards he’s been dealt… and man, he is winning big time! Here, Nick gives a speech to some school kids that none of them will likely forget.
I can’t think of much more to say than just plain, old “Wow!”
A few months back I wrote an article about what I was calling funded proposals. You can see that article by visiting funded proposals.
Basically what I talked about was a way of building your prospect list without having to pay for it. It is a very smart concept and I strongly suggest you check it out before going on with this article.
Since then I have expanded this concept and it has been working so well I just have to share it with you. As you know from my free guide my theory on lead generation is simple. Offer something of value for free in exchange for a prospect’s contact information as well as their permission to stay in touch. Follow up with that prospect via email and provide valuable information until he buys something or unsubscribes. (more…)
During the time Eric spent working with our firm, we recognized an immediate increase in web presence, which translated to genuine sales opportunities. Eric manages to bring creative thinking together with an eye for return on investments to his projects. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Eric is a pleasure to work with and brilliant online marketer. What he doesn't know is not worth knowing.

Without fail Eric was available to guide our blog and to overcome any marketing problems we've encountered along the way. I don't know where we would be without his help.

Even after 13 Months the sales leads that Eric generates still provide a greater return than any other source we buy from. I have no intention of looking anywhere else.

I've never had an easier sales job than when I worked with Eric at Sao Paulo English. Our online lead generation and email follow-up system allowed me to simply follow-up with prospects that already knew exactly what we did. Most often, I just needed to ask when they wanted to start.
